So this past Saturday, my living room and dining room were once more taken over by assorted microphones and guitars, a drumkit, and a Tascam TA-88 for the second "Come Travel With Me" recording session. In addition to Kludge and Crystal, we were joined by dglenn for instrumental backing me on several songs.

We spent most of the afternoon working on "Hyperion", the currently intended album opener. And may I say, "HYPERION" ROCKS! OK, so it's my album and I'm perhaps a wee bit biased, but nevertheless, HYPERION F***ING RAWKS! I've been envisioning this song with a real electric bass line and a crashing drum. And it pretty much sounds as I envisoned. So you'll have to pardon me if I SQUEE! just a bit.
