Just found out the Shakespeare Theatre in DC is offering a live broadcast of the (UK) National Theatre's NTLive broadcast of Terry Pratchett's "Nation". The "main event" is tonight, but various locations throughout the US (and the world) have scheduled showings throughout February.

The DC-area broadcast is on February 8th at 7pm, in the Shakespeare Company's Landsburgh Theatre. Tickets are $20 general admission ($18 for Shakespeare Theatre subscribers). By an amazing coincidence, that happens to be the Monday we don't have 3LF practice as the church we use is offering its social hall as a homeless shelter that evening.

I just bought 2 tickets for ourselves. Any other local PTerry fans out there want to join us? 8-)
