For some reason now when I import folders to frames the program has started uploading frames out of numerical order 1, 2, 3 etc. Now it is uploading them 1, 10, 100, then after 109 it goes back to 11, making the gif that I am trying to create out of sequence. I'm hoping this is just a setting out of wack. Please could someone tell if it is just a setting I can fix. I'm using CS2.
I made this gif yesterday but when I try to upload it, it freezes and doesn't play. It meets all of Tumblr's requirements, so I don't understand what i'm doing wrong. All the configurations I used are below the cut.
I am new to make animations and I'm using Photoshop 7 and ImageReady. I have made the animation and switch to Photoshop (making sure that the first frame is selected) and I color it, but then when I switch back to ImageReady to save it as a .gif file, only the first frame displays the coloring effects I've applied. I've tried everything I can think of to see if it will apply to all frames, including individually coloring frame 2 but it only affects frame 1.
It's been a few years since I've made them so I'm rusty, but I'm re-figuring out the basics, and ended up with this: (w/crummy quality for some reason). I'm really having some trouble, and I cannot remember how to do some things. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. ( Read more...Collapse ) Please help. Thx so much.
I used to make icon in Photoshop 7 and animated gif in Imageready 7 in Windows XP.
Now, I have my own laptop and I have Photoshop CS3. I'm clueless on how to make animated gif because a lot of software doesn't work in Windows 7. And I just found out that Imageready had discontinued and I couldn't find the latest one on the net.
1) Is there a keyboard shortcut for the "Duplicates current frame" button in IR? Or must we keep avoiding the trash can and swinging up and down all over our screen in the pursuit of unique gifs?
2) Failing the above, is there some way to turn off these blasted "help" bubbles that I keep hitting (which result in either a slowed down process, or a jump in the gif and a WHOLE lot of hand wringing...)?
I don't know how I managed to miss this comment for a year and a half, but if you're still interested, I have now reuploaded the tutorial for you. Sorry for the delay!
