This feels so horrible. I know Pillowfort is going to stay up for a little while longer, but this hurts so bad. The site was perfect, and it was really feeling like a safe place. I'm not ready to lose everything I had there. I should be sleeping but I can't right now.

You're not alone. I've been trying to focus on setting up the new things and making connections but I'm still filled with frustration and dismay and there's nothing I can do about it. This sucks!!

It was pretty great for people who were able to figure it out. I got really comfortable on PF and it's crushing to see it shut down so soon after I joined, although in hindsight the site was struggling for a while

I think I didn't take the time to figure it out, I was heavily into LiveJournal and when the Russians bought it a lot of people were looking at alternatives, so thought I'd give it a go but never really left LJ
