"this is the sound of settling"
I've got a hunger twisting my stomach into knots
Death Cab For Cutie FTMFW.
Keane too.
Also, Frou Frou.
AND THE POSTAL SERVICE. I love hearing the original version of Such Great Heights when I know all the notes so well from The Section Quartet's cover of it. Makes me absurdly happy. :D *whistles along*
It is also absurd how tired I am despite my massive amounts of sleep. Granted they're in no particular order, and I think my body wouldn't know a circadian rhythm if it punched it in the mouth, but still.
I've been feeling artistic lately. I think it stems from seeing lots of great opportunities for pictures and having no camera with which to take them. *pout* Also because I'm sort of afraid to jump back into KoE for whatever reason (probably because it'd absorb me entirely and I'd neglect all else). But I've been drawing recently, something I haven't done in a long time. And it turns out I don't suck all that bad.
I mean, my perspective is skewed, and I still can't put a nose on a face to save my life, but somehow, it's improved. I think my doodling is finally doing me good.
In fandom related news: Law & Order: UK looks good. I like it. It was kinda boring because, hey, I've seen the story before-- but the investigating detectives are silly and smart (and one of them, to borrow a Britishism, is positively dishy) and the lawyers are snazzy and Freema and Bill Paterson, how can you go wrong. I like seeing Freema on my screen again. It's nice. But I think I might fall for the head lawyer guy, Ben Daniels. I just realized he reminds me of Daniel Craig, but thinner and more smiley. :D Lookit.

James Steel. Not the most original name, but I like it enough. I'm excited. I've got far too many fandoms, and there are plenty more calling my name begging for attention, but I love that there is such great TV available right now.
But I must tear myself away, for there is reading to be done for tomorrow's classes. It's back to the daily grind, and dear God I am not looking foward to it. March is going to suck. (I know saying it doesn't help, but I can't seem to stop.) LOL HEART OF DARKNESS FOR FICTION. I'm going to kill this response paper. oh shit that just reminded me I've got one for Madame Bovary due next Monday. Bollocks. Well, at least I didn't have any online French to do this week that I forgot about.
AND WHY CAN'T I STOP YAWNING
