Rules and Guidelines
Based off of the rules of watsons_woes. Any resemblance between their rules and ours is entirely my fault for watching TV while typing--and being a complete idiot about things, like usual.

General Posting Guidelines
1. Holmes Should be the focus, but as long as he's not in any way, shape or form in a state that resembles good health/normalcy, it's fine.
2. Other characters may be in the fic/art, but not as the sole focus!!!
3. At least a hint of unhealthy/abnormal Holmes must be present.
4. Repeat offenders of the rules will be banned from the community.
5. All stories and art must either be under a lj-cut or a link to the post in your personal journal (if posted to your personal journal, your post must be set to be viewable by all).

Posting Fiction
1. Use the tags. They help people find your fic later when they are no longer on the first page.
2. Slash is allowed here in story-form only, As long as you warn for it! If you don't like slash, simply don't read it. Additionally, please warn for movie/tv spoilers, (attempted) suicide, (pending) character death, alternative universe, non-con, and torture.

Posting Art
1. All art must be work safe. This means nothing too graphic.

Plagiarism
1. Plagiarism is a crime, especially if it is deliberate.
2. If you have nicked lines or parts of someone else's prior posted fanfiction without the author's permission, you will be warned.
3. If the plagiarism is not fixed within 72 hours (or 3 days) of the warning, your entry will be taken down and you will be banned from the community for a fortnight (two weeks).
4. If it happens a second time, you will be banned permamently from the community and your entry removed.
5. Unintentional acts of plagiarism are not deliberate and can be easily fixed with the addition of credit if an author feels his/her work is being threatened/copied.
6. We are not the "plagiarism police", we're just trying to give authors the chance to request that you give them credit if you paraphase something of theirs or use their idea. If you, in any way, use lines or plots belonging to other authors, you need to have their permission, preferably before posting your story.

Rules and Guidelines for commenting
1. No flaming. Flamers will be banned and their posts/comments removed.
2. No spamming either. Spammers will be banned and their posts/comments removed.

Community Rules and Guidelines
1. I'm not your Kindergarten teacher, and this is not Kindergarten. Please behave like the (mostly) adults I know y'all are.
2. Do not respond to spammers and trolls. Please PM holmes221b with the URL to the post/comment in question and the reason you are PMing her.
3. More rules and guidelines will be added as needed.
