GOTH BOOKS GALORE

If you’re looking for a book to get someone for Xmas there’s no-one with a larger selection of Goth, Punk, Post-Punk and Indie material than me. The books are printed in the UK and the US so you should get anything you order in time for Xmas. Full list of books, with urls behind the cut.

THE SYNTHETIC DREAM FOUNDATION "they who breathe darkness"

BATCAVE BOOKS x 10

The publisher I use is offering free shipping in America until June 30th so I thought I’d pop this up here in case it benefits you. These are cheap books on gloss paper, featuring individual gigs from the Batcave. These have appeared in the Batcave compendium books I do (on 55# weight matt paper), but these are on 80# weight paper, 6.1” x 9.2”, done saddle-stitch, magazine style, with a lovely feel and using the full colour printing process. Although they remain black and white photos, the inks used ensure more vibrant detail comes through in the images. All covers, details and urls behind the cut.

http://stores.lulu.com/mickmercer - all books (Punk, Goth and Indie) – worth a look if you can benefit from the American postage offer.

HEX FILES: Resurrection update

I have deleted the earlier post because people have asked for more specific details of contents so behind the cut of this trimmer update you can see how many photos have been added, and of whom, which should prove easily enough why this is the biggest book ever published on Goth, with the American and UK sections now individually bigger than the original book was.
(*Someone that just ordered it tells me Lulu – the publisher - are offering free shipping within America through the Summer.)

A scene is obviously worth nothing if it cannot identify itself by identifying with others within it. Support is sometimes necessary, and possible. Phoenix Marie, herself a Goth, was a regular poster on my journal until she became ill, and when she began her fundraising effort I did an interview in my magazine to spread the word about her fundraising appeal, but felt a limited edition Goth book might be more helpful. She is responding to treatment, which is why it is vital she completes the course, which she must pay for herself - the alternative being the onset of advanced old age and crippling pain. The 104 page book costs £9.99 and contains 100 of my favourite photos from my archive, and full details are behind the cut.

FEB. 13 - 2010

END: THE DJ (Komor Kommando, Crunch Pod Music)
Signed with the Crunch Pod music label and voted the #1 Industrial Club DJ on The DJ List (world's largest DJ directory), END: the DJ is known for his hard hitting club DJ sets in the hard EBM, Rhythmic Noise, Hardstyle, Aggrotech & Industrial Dance genres. Breaking down boundaries in the Electronic music fields on dance floors while promoting the best independent artists is what motivates End to tour each year since 2006. His new album Endtrovert drops on Feb. 26!

KRI (Touch Samadhi)
As he comes across quiet and somewhat reserved in person, one would not, at first, realize that Kri is on a mission, a serious quest to bring Psychedelic Trance music to the people, and to bring the people to a state of enlightenment in the process. Caught up in the party scene of the 90's and gaining a reputation for his skills in mixing breakbeat and scratching, Kri left it all behind to pursue full-time the haunting promise Goa trance laid out for him. Now, he has single handedly created a devout following in places all over the country.

PSYONIC (Touch Samadhi)
The year was 92' when Psyonic's ears were 1st touched with the sounds of electronic music. Coming from a primarily punk and death metal background over the yrs Psyonic’s adventures in the "rave" world began to grow stale and lifeless. Till late summer of 2000 when he received a mysteries email from a unknown sender inviting him to a "party" in the mountains of Asheville, N.C. With nothing better to do he packed his gear and headed to the mountains. Psyonic having no idea or knowledge of the psytrance culture and community was taken by surprise once he hit the dance floor. and like us all, he felt as though he had finally found his place and purpose. Now 6 almost 7 yrs later as the music has grown and progressed into a darker more harsh style.
