The Basic Information: I go by Daniell and Ayla. (See below for explanation.) I am a 27 year old female who was born in Hawaii but currently resides in Sin City (Las Vegas, NV). I live in a condo on the Las Vegas strip (between Circus Circus and the Vacation Hilton) with my boyfriend who is ten years older than me. After breaking up with my boyfriend, I moved into a cozy, little two bedroom apartment. I live in a condo at City Center with my boyfriend. I have two cats that live with my parents. My normal routine does not typically include checking my e-mail first thing in the morning after waking. However, on this particular Wednesday (May 13th) morning I did. The first e-mail that caught my attention was from LiveJournal and it appeared to be in Russian! The second was another e-mail from LiveJournal stating that my e-mail address for the account was changed. It can't possibly be. It must be an error. I was just logged into my account a few hours earlier before going to sleep. It of course was not an error and it was as I suspected, my journal was hacked.

They deleted every journal entry here and in crushedviolet. It is almost entirely identical to what happened to shoebox_project. I suggest you go there and read the entry sashayed posted.

You might be wondering how this happened. I'll tell you. LiveJournal does not allow you to delete the original e-mail address you used to create your account. Stupid fucking Hotmail is allowing old e-mail addresses to be recycled. That just screams, "Hack me!". If you created your LiveJournal account with a hotmail e-mail address and you no longer use that e-mail, I suggest you contact LiveJournal and see if they will remove it because you will not be able to do it from the e-mail management page unless your current address has been validated for three months. If they won't, hopefully no one has picked up your old e-mail on hotmail.

I was able to regain control of my account by the end of the day. Yes, it is me. It is not some fucking hacker imposter. Unfortunately, the damage done here cannot be fixed.

I have nothing to hide, but I do like to know who is reading my journal. Hence, this space is friends only. Please comment to be added.
