Why is just about every damn community that lists The Promise Ring as an interest about being xxemo~ &hearts scene and _inner pain~ ?
A guy I work with noticed my tattoo and we had a grand ol' discussion about Good Music. This conversation gave me hope that there were other people in this world who still listen to this stuff. False, bitter, black hope. Asshole.

Hey everyone!
Has anyone heard the new Brazilian band Telepathique? They remind me of CSS meets punk infused house beats and I absolutely love them!!!
You can read what Spin magazine thinks about the band AND download a free mp3 of their song "Love and Lust" here: http://spin.com/articles/catch-buzz-telepathique
Hope you guys agree!

The Tripwire is reporting that the new Verve's album Forth is getting pushed back a week. They say:
"You know that big red circle you have on your desk calendar that marks the street date of The Verve's Forth release? Well, you might want to go and get some white out. The upcoming record just got pushed a week, and will now come out August 26 in the US and Canada, and a day earlier in the UK. The reason? Maybe they want us in suspense, or maybe its because good things come to those who wait. Sigh...I guess we will go back to watching the video for the rest of the day. "

| Songs To Make You Love Again |

I'm not sure how many people take part in this community any more. But for those of you still around, I've got a request/challenge for you. Suppose you knew one of the hardest, most jaded people in the world. They haven't loved someone sincerely in years. If you wanted to make them love again, what song/songs/album would you suggest they listen to?

Just an FYI - the Verve posted a new song called "Mover" on their website for free download. It's a song that's not going to be on their new album (Fourth) that's coming out in August. Enjoy!
Crossposted to multiple communities with The Verve or similar bands in the interests. Sorry if this is too off-topic.
EDIT: Check out the cover art here.

Hi! I want to let you know of a new community I created. It's called music_posts and it's for people who love talking about music. I was listening to a song the other night and felt so touched by it, that I wanted to tell everyone in the world about it. I feel like there should be a place on live journal for people to come together and do just that. So, if you're interested, please have a look and tell your friends if you think they would like to join! |

I'm making a mix, and I need some recommendations.
It will be strictly made up of the fastest, most cinematic, enthusiastic, and lame fantasy speed metal out there.
I'm talking about in the vein of Rhapsody of Fire, Blind Guardian, and Dragonforce of course.
Help make this a mix to conquer and pillage to.
