General Likes & Dislikes

I particularly love relationshippy fic, and read femslash, slash, het and OT3s. I also enjoy gen! Any rating is fine.

In general, I really enjoy:
-- Found family, ensembles, coming together as a team.
-- Getting together, first kisses, first times.
-- Banter & snark, humour, physical comedy, goofiness.
-- Arranged marriage, marriage of convenience, pretending to be dating.
-- Domesticity, cooking together, playing board games/cards, reading to each other.
-- AUs! Canon-divergent, IN SPACE, regency, werewolves, pirates, royalty, fairy tale retelling. I especially love mostly-canon-but-with-MAGIC AUs.
-- Heists, capers, plans, quests, road trips.
-- Time travel & time loops.
-- Porn! Crossdressing, wet messy kissing, imperfect sex, pegging, bondage, laughter during sex, sex pollen/X-made them do it.
-- More tropes! Animal transformation, accidental baby/animal acquisition, trapped/snowed in, soulmates …

DNW: infidelity, power imbalances where one is an authority figure (such as parent/child or student/teacher), character death (but if they come back, that's okay!), non-con, graphic depictions of violence or gore

Galaxy Quest
any (Alexander Dane, Fred Kwan, Gwen DeMarco, Laliari)

I LOVE this movie and I love all four of the characters nominated. I'm happy with shippy fic if you're so inclined, but would also be interested in character-focus or ensemble. I LOVE the found family ensemble feels of the movie! I would especially love to see futurefic, perhaps set during The New Adventures -- or perhaps even later when it is remade into a series of Hollywood movies? Working backstage and behind the scenes is always interesting to me (what about when they shoot a Mirrorverse episode?), or exploring what conventions are like for them now. Or: the Thermians return! Or: Alexander starts a podcast; Fred turns into a kitten; Laliari starts an online advice column; Gwen accidentally acquires a baby.

GLOW
Arthie Premkumar, Yolanda Rivas

I was so happy to see queer ladies on this show, and would really just love more about them! Particularly what comes next for them in Vegas! It would also be great to fill in missing scenes and backstory -- more details about their developing romance, roommate domesticity, Arthie's choice to drop out of medical school, Yolanda's backstory, etc. In general, I LOVE all of the behind-the-scenes TV stuff, especially how they train and figure out how to build stories/narratives into the wrestling show. I was really interested in Arthie's arc with Beirut and would like to see more about that! Other prompts: Arthie REALLY likes watching Yolanda; accidental baby acquisition; space wrestling AU.

Jane the Virgin
Jane Villanueva, Petra Solano

This show, with its good humour, soft heart, and wacky hijinks, is one of my favourites. I really enjoy the ensemble, including the kids, and I love how the show walks the line between high-stakes soapy tropes and grounded emotional relationships. One of my favourite relationships has always been Jane and Petra -- I ship them a lot and would love shippy fic, but it would also be great to see non-shippy stories (I have also been loving the dynamics of Petra/Jane Ramos + Petra & Jane Villanueva). Please feel free to write tropes and hijinks (trapped in the elevator at the Marbella! fake relationship! PTA rivalries/bickering!). I would also love more about their brunches while Rafael was in jail, or Jane writing her next novel about her FEELINGS for Petra, or anything that involves Petra exploring her queer identity.

Singin' in the Rain
Cosmo Brown, Don Lockwood, Kathy Selden

Singing and dancing OT3 of my heart! I love the way these three work together: creatively, emotionally, and supportively. I'd especially love to read post-movie OT3 getting-together fic, whether it's in adorable domesticity, tropey or sexy fun, or a more serious look at being in such a relationship in the Hollywood spotlight. Backstage shenanigans on their new film set or modern reality TV AU? Or tropey fun, like Don is a secretly a virgin, soulmate AU where Kathy has two names on her wrist, or Cosmo is a werewolf. If you're not inclined towards OT3 shipping, I'd prefer BFF-y gen to pairing-focused fic.
