Some items are worth less when processed than the sum of their raw ingredients, like Greatuga oil, this strikes me as an oversight since a processed item should always be worth more than what was used to create it, since you're spending time and fuel to do so, as well as other resources in order to aquire the ingredients in the first place, like buying a farm or making a fishing pole. Many of the fish dishes in particular are like this where they are not worth making because selling all ingredients raw gives you more product and just as much or more money.
