Grifters winning Heist 5 (and me placing in the top ten point scorers.) Oh, and meeting rl fandom friends. And booking A8. And pretty much every Leverage episode there's been.

The Bill. Still. 

The fandom you haven't tried yet, but want to? 
The Mentalist and Downton Abbey. There's a DA land comm out there and I'm so, so tempted.

Your biggest fan anticipations for the coming year? 

New episodes of Leverage and Supernatural but probably the biggest one is Asylum 8!

The seminar this morning was so awesome :D I found out that I already knew two people who are in it from the summer school which is great because it means that:

a)I know someone
and
b) Not EVERYONE looks at me in confusion when I say Geordie words like 'canny'!

Anyway, it was really good and we had a discussion going about the worth of a humanities degree and it was really fun. I have my study group now (one of the girls from the summer school plus two other girls who seem really nice) so I think everything is sorted timetable-wise now.

I've been doing some reading and note-taking since I got in at about 11 so I'm going to keep going for a little while longer and then start doing other things like writing (I have my leverageland team up fic to work on, as well as everything else I still need to do!) and watching shows and catching up on all of your posts. Anything important/fun/squee-worthy that you guys think I need to see?

Wow. It's so hot again today - I really love this weather! I know that the heat makes me lazy and I don't get much done but it's so nice to be able to wear sandals and go outside without needing a coat.

The SPN S2 marathon was a success - we got through 13 episodes, rather a lot of beer (although I only had one) and five packets of dorrittos between us. There was also pizza and gag reel quotes and tickling. And then my friend walked me home because he's a gentleman like that.

School's on today. I've already been in this morning and loads of sixth form lessons were cancelled because of teacher shortages. I've come home for my break but I'm really wishing I'd just stayed there because it's started to snow a lot again. I'm gonna get wet. And I only have one lesson to do. And we're doing a test :( I'm really hoping it's closed again tomorrow so that I can do some work.

I have a coursework deadline for next week and I haven't even started the revisions to it yet. Also, I was only planning on editing one of them but now it looks like I have to do both. /fail.

For anyone who didn't see it yesterday, winehouse and I have started a new community, teddy_ian (90210). It'd be really good if you guys could maybe mention it in your journals because there's not many places for us to advertise it. And jsyk, I only saw the show for the first time yesterday but these two are adorable. And it's canon which is awesome. So yes, in the space of about two hours I watched the show, wrote a fic and became co-mod of the comm. It's exciting :)

Does anyone else watch the show? I need more people to squee with XD

I have exams in January. I've just realised how close January actually is. I should revise at some point. And, omg, I have so much coursework to do as well. Me=freaking out. I also think that when my exams actually start I'm going to have to do a semi-hiatus, maybe limit myself to a certain amount of time online per day because, if I don't, I'm going to FAIL.

And I just looked out of the window and it's a freaking blizzard out there. And I have to leave in just over an hour and I don't think it's going to stop before then. Oh dear.

On the plus side, one of the history teachers was singing 'Let it Snow' today XD She's awesome.

There's a tv show over here called 'The Bill' - it's a bit of an institution but it's last episode ever is showing next week. I was so worried that the last episode would be a let down but, from the previews, it looks like it's focused around my favourite character! I'm going to have to get my Grandma to record it for me because we'll be away by then.

I've just about finished all of my packing. I'm really looking forward to going away for the week but I'm going to miss you guys!

I did some more writing for my spnslashbigbang yesterday. I'm quite pleased with how it's going, I just need to learn to write faster.

I get my AS results tomorrow! I'm really nervous now, I just hope I've done well. It's also my Grandma's birthday so it's going to be quite a busy day. I'm not sure what I'll do if my results are bad - they're so important for getting into university.

-So, I have lots and lots of ideas for the challenge fics but I can't seem to start writing :/ I know what I want to happen in each chapter and everything. It's the same with the prompt fics - I know what I want to happen but I just can't get it written down and now I'm feeling bad about taking so long with them.

-I'm going to need to rewatch 5x01 through to about 5X10 for my fic for lightthesparks . I'm really not complaining about that, though :) I think I'll definitely be writing more than 10,000 words. What started out as a small idea is now turning into a pretty epic length fic.

-Comic Con!! It's made me very excited. I've seen most of the S5 gag reel sneak peek and it's awesome. I cannot wait for the DVD now :) Also, a certain title is making me very happy.  I'm really looking forward to all the reports and videos :)

-I watched 'After School Special' yesterday - I'd forgotten how awesome Colin Ford is. You know, everyone talks about Dean's shorts and I get why. But I actually think him wearing the full tracksuit is just as cool. He looks very yummy in it :D Anyway, my point is, I hope we get another flashbacky episode in S6 with Colin Ford and JDM. Yes, I know the likliehood of a JDM comeback is very small but it would be so cool! In the words of Jensen: 'Come back to us, Jeff! Come back to us!'

I've decided that avoiding Season Six spoilers AND using Twitter is impossible (especially during Comic - Con) so I'm embracing the spoilers because I can't do without Twitter :) I'll try and keep this a spoiler-free zone for those of you who have more willpower than me - any spoilers will go behind cuts. There's some cool stuff so far though :D

I've just finished arguing debating with my sister about whether Jared is cute in Cheaper By The Dozen. She says no because he plays a bully (which is weird logic, I think) and I say yes because, well, it's Jared. And there are dimples. And it's Jared.  Is it weird that I always get happy when I think of Jared and Tom Welling acting together? It brings all my RPF tendencies out.

Real life isn't very fun all of a sudden. Living with my Grandma and Grandad is usually cool but we've been arguing over the last few days. So, I've immersed myself in Supernatural and fandom things today.

I've done loads of planning for the challenge fics. I need a little help though, for research purposes. In the episodes from 5.01 through to 5.10 what are the things that you really wanted explained? You know, the plot strands that just seemed to die out. Or the missing scenes you really needed to see. I promise that there's a good reason for this :)
