European champions Italy will not play in the 2022 World Cup after being stunned by North Macedonia in their play-off in Palermo.

Denmark mood right now

And England is already on its way to defeat the Ukrainians. Come on England!

If England does its part in defeating the East, like we did by beating the Czechs, we will face each other to decide who will represent the North in the final battle against the South represented by either Italy or Spain.

I am rooting for England this time but will be rooting against England in the next one (sorry guys, but you will face us). But for now, let's do it once again:

COME ON ENGLAND!

PS: Our garden is packed with people and we have enough beer to flood the Earth.

Only God and Hajduk Live Forever

Hajduk is Split's football team and it is a religion here. "Only God and Hajduk Live Forever" or "HZV" which is the abbreviation for "Hajduk Zivi Vječno" (Hajduk Lives Forever) is everywhere on the walls here. Everywhere.

The club was founded in the centuries-old pub "U Fleků" in Prague (then part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire), by a group of students from Split (just like Picigin) and was registered in 1911.

Game tomorrow

We kicked the ball around a little bit today in the evening because tomorrow the guys from the neighbouring village are coming over and we are going to slaughter them like we did two weeks ago. This is the "oldies" team, which here is everyone over 25 or so (and up to over 70).



Our youth team kicked their youth team's ass last week too. When the youth teams play a lot of this happens here. A lot.
