Hello, everyone. I'm new. Drive-by newbie post below, cuz i have to go work on my engine :)
Name: Remy
Nickname(s): Rem, Harvard (don't ask-it's my brother's fault)
Age: 22 (23 in November)
Location: wherever my wheels take me, but, currently in Hawaii working a job with the kid bro.
Dream ride: my car
Your cars?: '66 Chevy Impala, my significant other's car, '67 Shelby GT500 *wipes drool off mouth*

Anyway, got an overheated radiator cap. Off to fix my baby. |

Name: Ali
Nickname(s): Most are too embarrassing to mention upon first meeting everyone here...
Age: 29
Location: New Jersey
Dream ride: Too many to choose from!
Your cars?: Nothing exciting (yet).
Other interests: '50s music, playing guitar, reading, wine, seeing live music, travel, driving.
Why vintage?: I just love the look and feel of vintage machines. And it's true, they don't make them like they used to.
I decided to join this community because I've grown very fond of taking pictures of vintage machines, and very few of my friends share this passion. I'll post some of my photos soon. I'm nowhere near a professional, although I did work for a local motorcycle/car magazine for about two years, which is mainly what I blame for this new obsession of mine. I don't work at the mag anymore, but I love taking pictures more than ever, and I want to learn more about what's out there so I can be better informed when I do decide to take the plunge and buy a vintage car.
I hope that makes sense! |
