Good morning, folks!

It's time for the results for round 1.03!

In total seven people voted and votes ranged from -4 to +3. Five stories either received a positive or negative vote. Two fic even received extra feedback, not related to a positive or negative vote!

This round's winner is faerielissa with her 'All Along', receiving three positive votes and no negatives. Congratulations and well done! :D

Runner ups were falconwhitaker's 'Avacado' and luckystar37's 'Heading to Monroe' with +1. Well done to you, too!

Unfortunately we also had to eliminate someone from the competition. That poor soul was dredarin with her 'Little Engines', ending the round on -4. I'm really sorry, hun, I hope you had fun playing! Perhaps we'll see you next time. ^^

To everyone else, I hope you had fun and good luck in the next round! Be sure to send them in on time (midnight of Sunday) and have fun with it. This post is also the place to request your feedback - if you had any. I will send them to you through an LJ message or email.

(Following this post will be the stories and authors.) You are now free to do with your stories as you please. ^^

Thanks, everyone, and good luck next time!

Unfortunately we've only received four votes so far and that really isn't enough to decide on a winner. Therefore I've decided to extend the voting time by a week. That means the voting ends on the day stories have to have been submitted for round 4.

Please, if you haven't, vote in this round! You can do so here.

You can find the stories here.

Thanks, everyone!

Just wanted to remind everyone that voting for Round 1.03, Changing Places, ends in less than 24 hours. So far we've had only three votes and that's really not enough to base a decision on. So, if you haven't voted yet, or know someone who hasn't, then please do so now. We really need the votes. Thanks!

This is also the half-way reminder for Round 1.04: Foreign Matters.

Theme: Foreign Matters.

This challenge has to do with something foreign. It can be whatever you want it to be. It can be that something 'is foreign' to the characters involved, they're not used to something, they eat foreign food, they speak a foreign language, or that they're litterally going to a foreign country. It's your choice, just make sure we can recognize what is 'foreign' about the situation! ^^

Prompt-Word: Missing Property.

Someone's property is missing/gone/stolen/whatever. They lost their luggage, their dog ran away, their ex stole their cellphone, whatever. Have fun with it!

You have another week to work on this challenge! Good luck, everyone. ^^

Good morning! It's time for the stories. Please go to the Voting Instructions/Voting Post to figure out how to vote.

This post contains the first couple of stories for this round, be sure to read the other post as well.

Do not leave your votes here. Go to the voting post, please!

The stories were added randomly. Good luck with voting and well done, writers!

Good morning, people!

Unfortunately this round we only had five stories submitted. This leaves us with a few defaulters and a some authors removed from competition.

Due to two defaults (round 1.02 and 1.03) I had to remove the following writers from the Battle Royal. I hope to see you again next competition.

( Removed AuthorsCollapse )

This is the voting post. Here you'll;

1. Find the instructions on how to vote.
2. Leave your votes and comments.

You have until midnight - New York time - on the 23rd of March to vote. (You can find all the times in earlier posts.)

Please be sure to read these instructions carefully before voting!

Good evening, everyone!

This is another one of those reminders. There are less than 24 hours left to send in your stories for round 1.03! Be sure to send something in soon!

To remind you of the prompt and theme:

Theme: Changing Places.

Something - or someone - isn't where they're supposed to be. Perhaps they're literally somewhere else, or maybe they've even switched identities. This round's theme is all about being somewhere out of the ordinary. A superstar finds himself stuck in Detroit while he should be in New York, an insignificant cruiserweight finds himself discussing angles with Vince and they actually listen. Something is different and it's your place to tell us what.

Prompt-Word: Cars.

Some sort of car should be mentioned. From old-timers to today's supercars, let your mind wander!

So far I've only received three fic, so I hope everyone else has their fic close to finished. If not, then I'll have to remove one of your defaults. In the case of a second default, that would mean removal from the competition. That would be really unfortunate.

Good luck, people!

- Sila

PS: Just to remind everyone of the times:

Good evening, everyone!

There are less than six hours left to vote, so if you didn't get to before, please do so now. ^^ We currently have enough votes to clearly decide a winner, but we can always use more! Perhaps poke your friends to vote, as well. ;) I would really appreciate it.

This is also a reminder post to our writers. We're halfway through round three, so you have one more week to finish your fic for the 'Changing Places' challenge. Hope everyone is doing well with that!

Good luck, everyone, both with the voting and writing! Have fun this round. :D

- Sila

With 8 stories submitted and the start of the voting, it is time for the next round! Hope this one works even better than the last one. ^^ Have fun!

Story Submission:

You can either email me the stories - use silawen (at) gmail (dot) com - or message them to me through the LJ message system. (You have 10.000 characters to use, so if it nears the 1000 word mark, it might be better to email them to me.)
Be sure to properly identify your story if you send it through email. (Meaning, add the LJ name you're using for the contest and put 'challenfe fic' in the subject.)

Good luck, everyone!
