As my Christmas gift to you, I would like to give you this recipe. I made those cookies on Monday (along with 2 other recipes) and they are just awesome for ginger lovers.

Beat together until fluffy:
3/4 cup butter
2/3 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup molasses
1 egg
1 1/2 tablespoon fresh minced ginger

Stir together:
2 cups flour
2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger

Stir flour mixture into butter mixture until well combined (you can use your hands if necessary.)

Refrigerate at least 1 hour.

Roll 36 little balls in hour hands.

Roll the balls in this mixture:
1/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon ground ginger

Put unto parchment paper-lined or greased baking sheets.

Bake for 8 minutes at 350F.

oh, I wanted to say. Tuesday night, I went to Paris.

I really loved how Cedrick Klapisch filmed Paris, just like he filmed Barcelona in L'auberge espagnole. That was my favorite thing about the movie, seeing the city. Which was the whole point of the movie I guess. It's a movie with tons of little stories crossing each other, so it's kind of hard to say: "the story was great" since there are too many of them. But the actors were so great in their roles, especially Juliette Binoche and Fabrice Luchini.

I've never been to Paris. But I've seen it though.

What's up with all the Russians adding me? The last 5 people to add me are all Russians. Plus, they all seem to have picture journals. Russians, please speak up! Why me? I can't even read what you are writing!

I just made a big cut in my friends list because I realized that some of them had cut me off and that others haven't updated in forever. LJ is very slow, both on my part and on my flist. There are like 5 of my friends that update regularly now. It's a bit sad actually.

Anyway, to those of you who are still here, I just want to wish you a happy Sunday!

Yesterday, I went to see U23D on IMAX. I never go to shows, so it was pretty cool to somewhat experience one. Plus, I got to see the band real close, the stage and what they see when they are on stage. Man, so many people jumping up at the same time is almost scary. I think I prefer watching them on the big screen than actually being there. I'd be too freaked out. The show was awesome, but it was weird just watching it and not screaming and singing with the crowd. I felt like getting up and moving my arms in the air, but I was in a movie theater.

hehe, guess what Jac bought? the first season of Beverly Hills 90210. So much fun!
