Feng Yun 3G [CMA/NSMC]
FY-3G (Feng Yun 3G) is a precipitation monitoring satellite in the the second generation of chinese low earth orbiting meteorological satellites FY-3 series.
The three-axis stabilized satellites feature two solar panels and following instruments:
- PMR: Precipitation Measurement Radar
- GNOS-2: GNSS Radio Occultation Sounder-2
- MERSI-RM: MERSI-Rainfall Measurement
- MWRI-RM: Micro-Wave Radiation Imager for the Rainfall Mission
- HARC: High Accuracy Radiometric Calibrator
- SIPMAI: Short-wave Infrared Polarized Multi-Angle Imager
