Feng Yun 4C [National Satellite Meteorological Center]

China's geostationary meteorological satellite program FY-4 (Feng Yun 4) is the second generation of chinese geostationary meteorological satellites. These satellites will replace the earlier FY-2 series.

FY-4 is a three-axis-stabilized spacecraft. Feng Yun-4C (FY-4C) was launched on 26 December 2025, from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center aboard a Long March 3B carrier rocket. It will replace the FY-4A satellite. The Fengyun-4C satellite is positioned at 133° east longitude above the equator, with an observation area ranging from 68° east longitude to 162! west longitude, covering central and eastern of China and the Asia-Pacific region.

• SXUS (Solar X-ray and extreme-Ultraviolet Spectral fluxmeter)
