
Khayyam 1 [INSA]
The Iranian Khayyam 1 is a Russian built and launched Earth observation satellite for government and military use.
The project is led by NPK Barl while the manufacturer of the satellite is VNIIEM. The imaging payload has a ground resolution of 0.7 m. Likely these satellites are versions of the Russian Razbeg satellites.
Iran has reportedly ordered three more satellites after the launch of the first one.
