
Ray 1 [Inversion Space Industries]
Ray 1.0 is a small reentry capsule designed by Inversion Space as a technology demonstrator for their planned larger Arc capsules.
Ray 1.0 was launched in to orbit for a mission of up to 4 weeks. It consists of a reentry capsule and a service module. The spacecraft had completed on-orbit testing for validating key technologies, but failed to attempt re-entry due to an on-orbit short circuit in a component preventing the deorbit engine from igniting.
