A small quarry in "Drammens-granite" (biotite granite) situated a few hundred metres NE of Nedre Eiker Church, some 10 km W of Drammen. It was worked as a quarry by K. Bergerud AS ca 1940-1960. The quarry was abandoned in 1960 and is now mostly filled with garbage. Contact between the Permian Drammen granite and Ordovician sediments (Hærøya Formation) is exposed in this quarry.
The mineralisation continues in the area above the quarry where several good finds of amethyst were done in the 1990s.
