Stratabound Mississippi Valley type (MVT) Pb-Zn deposit, located in the carbonate platform of the passive margin of the Tarim plate. The orebodies are hosted in brecciated rocks of several sequences, consisting of Devonian-Carboniferous sandstone and overlying carbonate rocks. Cobalt ores were discovered in the 1950s, in the early stages of exploration.
