A uranium mining project that commenced in 2007 located approximately 10km south east of the mining town of Arlit.
The Project (as of 2021) is controlled 100 % by the Nigerien mining company, Compagnie Miniere Madaouela SA ("COMIMA"), owned 80 % by GoviEx Uranium Inc., a public company listed in Canada; and 20 % by the Government of the Republic of Niger.
