A quarry located at the rear of Haslestad Saw and Construction Center at Rv 32 in Hof, which started in 1980. Rhombic porphyries (latites) of the type Hegge and trachytes with some later diabase veins were quarried for road constructions. In the mid-1990s, several good samples of scepter quartz with zones of amethyst were found here. Crystals up to 5 cm long were found together with crystals of grey-white quartz, calcite, fluorite and altered pyrite. The color of the crystals seems to decrease with age. The quarry is now closed.
