The location of the placer occurrence along East Creek is not known and this occurrence is arbitrarily placed about a mile upstream from the mouth of the creek.
Geology: Although Reed (1938) did not visit East Creek, he reports that it drains an area of schist and that very good placer prospects were found along it in the early 1900's.
Workings: Possibly only some prospecting.
Age: Quaternary.
