A group of small copper mines in the northern outskirts of Camborne, which are now completely built over. They all worked on the South Roskear main lode: Gustavus mine in the west, Wheal Gerry in the central part and South Roskear Mine in the east. The underground workings are connected on adit level.

From 1862, the group also included Wheal Vernon, which was the southern part of Wheal Crofty to the east. In 1864 and 1865, the group was worked together with North Roskear Mine and other adjoining mines under the name Roskear Mines.
