Köppen climate type:
Carbonatite and pyroclastic rocks in the exposed central vent of the eroded Gwasi nephelinite volcano. The vent pierces granitic basement and an early-formed ijolite-uncompahgrite complex. The fenites typically contain abundant pale sodic amphibole and aegirine.
