Tom Hal Mine; Sullivan Mine; Pateros Mine
A gold mine on the east side of the Methow River. It was developed by 1200' of workings in three connected adits, as well as several unconnected shafts and cuts. Ore produced prior to 1897 was valued at $72,000.
Note: Huntting (1956) lists the Sullivan and Friday mines as separate. They are the same mine. From inspection of the workings based upon their location on the patented claims, the area described by Huntting as both the mines is the same. Conversations with locals familiar with the mine while it was operating confirms this.
