Structure: The Kobau Formation Was Deposited Along An Active Continental Margin Proximal To Island Arcs.

Deposit: Hydrothermal alteration associated with the lakevie W mine occurs in the alteration halo of the kelsey porphyry cu-mo system (roper, 1973, alteration map).

Geology: Partly chloritized greenstone and metachert of the triassic or permian kobau formation (fox, 1970, geol. Map; roper, 1973, alteration map).

Ore(s): Said To Be A Thick Blanket-Like Body Of Ore Parallel To The Slope Of The Hill (Huntting, 1956, P. 143).
