Talc deposit.
Located in a suite of metasediments and volcanics of the Kibara Supergroup. These are polymetamorphosed rocks belonging to the Kibuye Formation. There is evidence for amphibolite facies metamorphism and a retrograde greenschist facies assemblage.
Genesis: A dolomitic precursor reacted with hydrothermal solutions and was completely transformed into talc. Subsequently, quartz veins were formed due to ongoing hydrothermal activity.
