Numerous shallow workings throughout this deposit produce typical clear to dark purple blocky style amethyst xls on quartz matrix. Frequently double terminated.
Workings are by means of shallow pits in brown clay and cobblestone like overburden. Most workings are by hand although there have been small workings by use of mechanical scrapers and diggers.
Fossickers should backfill holes that are dug.
