From the Teledyne website: "The Teledyne orebody contains in excess of 100,000 tons of cobalt mineralization with a grade of 0.5% cobalt with values in nickel-silver and copper and perhaps gold and diamonds.
The same orebody on the adjoining Big Agaunico Property produced some 4,350,000 pounds cobalt, 980,000 ounces of silver, 200,000 pounds of nickel and some l00,000 pounds of copper were produced intermittently from 1905 to the 1960's."
Note: At one time Big Agaunico Mines Limited held the claims (in the 1960's) that the Teledyne portal is on but never did any mining. The quote from Teledyne refers to the Agaunico property not the Big Agaunico since no ore was ever mined on the Big Agaunico claims. The veins being investigated by Teledyne where extension of veins from the Ruethel claim to the north, part of the Agaunico mine property.
