This is NOT a mineral occurrence locality, but rather, a mineral collecting area on old mine dumps. The material placed here during mining operations was removed from the Buckwheat open cut via aerial tramways that were employed. Therefore, theoretically, any mineral found at Buckwheat can be found here.

There are two mineral collecting areas on Taylor Road. One is about 100 meters east of its intersection with Buckwheat Road, and one is at the western end of Taylor Road at its intersection with Buckwheat Road.
NOTE: This is the property of the Franklin Mineral Museum, and a fee is required to collect here.
