Holmen consist of two small pits and a small prospects, all within 30m from each other. The prospect is rather overgrown, but the dominant grayish green felsic rock with some rusty patches and two narrow (5-20cm) pyrite zones. In the northernmost pit (2x3m) a chlorite rich ore zone can be seen in the northwestern corner. In the overgrown dump (100m3), a massive fine grained, pyrrhotite-sphalerite ore can be found. This ore contains galena, and some silver (160 ppm) is identified in the ore samples. The southern pit contains similar mineralization as the other pit.
