GML 671 (formerly GML 380 and 391). Stated at being on the north-west boundary of the Mineral Reward Claim 61, but as this incorporated several leases, it is of little help locating the Golden Promise. Much of the historic workings have been obliterated by modern mining and exploration in the area, which is one to two kilometres north north-west of the Nullagine town site.
A shaft had been sunk to 20 feet, with gold found in conglomerate in a ironstone band, 15 inches to 2 feet thick. A couple of crushings are reported in 1897 and 1898.
