Köppen climate type:
Historic lease with the main lode in a belt of white silky micaceous schist, hematite-phyllite, quartz conglomerate and quartzite, outcropping for 1000 feet. The quartz reef lode contained small quantities of malachite, and grains of chalcocite, across a vein 6 inches thick. Minute gold and minor silver was also found.
Two shafts were sunk, one shallow and one shaft sunk to a depth of around 50 feet.
