Köppen climate type:
Located 5.4 kilometres north of the North-West Coastal Highway, and about 15 kilometres west of the Uaroo homestead.
Discovered about 1914. Quartz-carbonate-goethite-malachite-azurite veins in siliceous quartz-muscovite-chlorite schist, dipping west. The workings cover a length of 70 metres, 1-2 metres wide, the main shaft down to a depth of 21 metres but collapsed to only 12 metres deep when inspected in the mid 1970's. There is substantial supergene enrichment in the deeper levels.
Marston states it was the largest copper producer in the district, but does not provide any figures. Despite this little appears to remain at the site other than the shaft remnants, and what appears to be a small dam for stock.
