WAMIN database lists the location as Yinnietharra Mica, Commonwealth Mica, and Government Mica mines. Yinnietharra Mica should be discouraged as it may lead to confusion with other mica mines in the area. There is much discussion in (Jacobson et.al., 2007), trying to identify the location, a problem pervasive across the Yinnietharra field.

Deposit B is south of Nardoo Hill, although it is close to, possibly the same as the Nardoo Creek pegmatite. Deposit C is north of MC 43H pegmatite, although its exact location is uncertain. Deposit MC 43H is south-east of Deposit D but again its location is unconfirmed. In the past Deposit D and MC 43H were thought the same location however the Western Australian Geological Survey has since suggested they are separate deposits. However, Jacobson marks both at the same location on their map.

We have listed Deposit D based on Jacobson's map, and matching a couple of large trenches at the location, and listed Deposit C and MC 43H but with no mapping until confirmed.

Deposit D contains schorl, beryl crystals to 15 centimetres long, and large muscovite books. The pegmatite trends north-east, dips 50 degrees north-west, outcropping 100 metres, and 5-7 metres wide. The workings appear more extensive than noted in Jacobson.
