Aramiska Peštera is a ponor cave located in the upstream parts of Kamenica Valley, ca. 0.5 km south of the confluence of Gaber and Crkvište streams, where Kamenica River actually begins. Its entrance is at 660 m a.s.l., on the left side of Gaber stream, 4 m above the riverbed. It is developed in Upper Cretaceous limestone from sinking allogenic waters coming from the Pliocene-Early Pleistocene pyroclastic cover (Temovski, 2016). Back-flooding clay sediments are present throughout most of the cave, especially in the upper (older) parts. In the Room of Bones, remnants of human bones and skulls are covered with flowstone.
