A former small surface and underground Pb-Ag mine located in West-central sec. 30, T.20S., R.22E, about 3 miles NE of Charleston. Produced 1942-1951. Owned and operated by E. Escapule (1951).

Mineralization is a replacement deposit of oxidized argentiferous lead ores along a fracture zone in Laramide Uncle Sam quartz latite porphyry.

Workings include a shaft and surface openings. Approximately 114 tons of ore were produced in 1942-1943.
