Köppen climate type:
Lower Jurassic formations such as the Huxishan Formation (J1h), Xiaomeigou Formation (J1x), Luelehe Formation (E3l), and Quaternary strata (Q). The Huxishan (J1h) and Xiaomeigou (J1x) formations are terrestrial, coal-bearing clastic rocks deposited in a fan-delta environment. The paleoclimate during deposition was warm and humid, and the rocks contain abundant plant fossils. The Luelehe Formation (E3l) comprises red terrestrial clastic rocks deposited in an alluvial fan environment. The paleoclimate during deposition was generally humid, with freshwater as the ancient water body. The Quaternary (Q) mainly comprises saline lake chemical sediments, such as gypsum and rock salt, and loose sediments formed by weathering.
