The ferromanganese crusts and nodules samples in this study were collected from six stations (JM04, JM26, JM02, JM03, JM05, and JM27) of the marine survey ship of Guangzhou Marine Geology Bureau during the deep-sea geological survey voyage in the West Philippine Sea. These stations are in the CRSGWPS, at depths of 4200 ∼ 6200 m.
