MVT deposits.
Most ore bodies of the Wusihe deposits are hosted by siliceous dolomite of the Dengying Formation, and a small number of ore bodies are hosted by carbonaceous shale of the lower Cambrian Qiongzusi Formation. The Dengying Formation is in conformable contact with the underlying sandstone of the Guanyinya Formation.

The Wusihe deposit (with more than 3.7 Mt. of Zn and Pb at a grade of 8.6% Zn and 2.0% Pb) is the largest known and the only currently mined deposit.
