Little remains of the deposit apart from leat.

The mineral deposit is thought to have been prospected & exploited from about 1760 and closed in 1862.

There are traces of shafts and tips by Nant Clydogau; mine buildings, converted for agricultural use were noted in 1979: a leat and pond noted on the Tithe Map may be preserved by hedgelines. The leat running above the site is thought to relate to this mine.
