Within the Baogang Steel and Rare Earth Complex.

Note: the original paper does not report precise localization of the pond → data taken from Wikimapia.

The tailings bear 5% of "bastnäsite" and "apatite" (each) - the main REE sources (alongside with much rarer monazite-(La)).

Sc sources: columbite (max. content, i.e., 1.58 wt.% Sc on avg.), aegirine, riebeckite, monazite, ilmenorutile.

Nb sources: nioboaeschynite (48.47 wt.% Nb), pyrochlore, dingdaohengite, and ilmenorutile.
