Strata in Anglonggangri wolframite mineralized area are the middle-late Jurassic Lagongtang and early Cretaceous Duoni Formation. The Lagongtang Formation consists of sandstone, siltstone, and slate and is unconformably overlain by the slate of Duoni Formation. Intrusions in the mineralized area are the late Cretaceous syenogranite and granodiorite and the Miocene high-Sr/Y biotite-muscovite granite (11.1–10.7 Ma), garnet-muscovite granite (10.2 Ma), and pegmatite. From the outcrops, these wolframite-bearing quartz veins are 0.1–0.5 m in thick and 0.1–1 m in length.
