The high-purity quartz ore of the East Qinling pegmatite type is predominantly found in the dense pegmatite area of the Longquan Ping Formation. Pegmatite veins are densely exposed within the area and are generally 100–1000 m long and 1–5 m thick, with a steep occurrence and dip angle of approximately 60°. These veins mainly intrude along the anticline axis, faults, interlayer fractures, and schist planes, often aligning parallel to tec tonic lines. However, some veins intersect schists and tectonic lines, showing clear intru sion contact relationships with the granite gneiss and various metamorphic mafic rock masses (pyroxenite, gabbro, etc.).
