Total indicated and inferred resources of 593 Mt at .33% Cu and 0.05 ppm Au, for 1.953 Mt of contained Cu and 933,600 oz of Au at 0.15% Cu cutoff. Jebel Ohier is a cluster of porphyry intrusive centers with associated mineralization zones, of which two (Quartz Knob and Malachite Mountain) are the most well understood. The Old Mine Jebels area (the name makes reference to ancient hard-rock gold workings in this location) of Jebel Ohier represents a higher-level, advanced argillic-altered zone with epithermal Au mineralization exploration potential, which may overlie a separate, blind porphyry copper deposit at depth. A somewhat deeper porphyry copper center is also interpreted at Jebel Ohier North, based on the presence of widespread development of D-type veins coincident with domains of quartz-sericite-pyrite (QSP) and clay alteration in this area.
