The Tesiketu deposit represents one of the most recent and significant discoveries in this new wave of exploration. Preliminary prospecting has delineated six fluorite‑bearing structural zones (Fp1–Fp6), containing a total of 12 fluorite orebodies. Individual orebodies range from 200 to 1290 m in length, with average true thicknesses of 0.96–3.53 m and average CaF2 grades of 17.49–66.81% (locally up to 69.9%). The outcropping strata in the area mainly include the upper member and middle member of the Early Silurian Balonggonggaer Formation and the Quaternary. The upper member of the Balonggonggaer Formation consists mainly of gray to grayish-green medium- to fine-grained sandstone and lithic sandstone, interbedded with silty slate. The middle member is predominantly composed of gray silty calcareous slate interlayered with purple-red siltstone and gray schistose sandstone. Magmatic rocks in the area are dominated by Early Silurian porphyritic monzogranite and porphyritic syenogranite. Among these, the porphyritic monzogranite forms the main wall rock of the fluorite-bearing structural zones. The ore can be classified into two types: fluorite‑quartz type and quartz‑fluorite type, with the former being dominant. The mineralization process can be divided into two distinct stages. The early stage, termed the fluorite‑quartz stage, is dominated by the formation of quartz. In this stage, cryptocrystalline light‑purple fluorite occurs as disseminations within quartz veins, mainly distributed in the outer zones of the fluorite‑quartz veins. The late stage, known as the fluorite stage, is characterized primarily by the precipitation of fluorite. During this stage, fluorite forms well‑developed euhedral to subhedral crystals concentrated in the inner zones of the fluorite‑quartz veins, with fluorite becoming the dominant mineral phase.
Low-temperature hydrothermal vein-type fluorite deposit.
