This breccia outcrops for approximately 20 m along the forest road and contains light grey dolostone clasts, magnesite, red-white flaser dolostone, sparsely black chert, grey-brown greywacke as well as light green and red quartz-rich sericitic slate that are embedded in a red siliciclastic matrix. The components are mainly derived from the Spielberg dolostone and clasts of quartz, red schist or greenstone are rare. Hollow clasts with magnesite are frequently found and aragonite often crystallized in the cavities of these clasts. Besides the magnesite in the clasts, there are also magnesite nodules (few mm) in the matrix of the Brunnsink breccia which are common in the stratigraphically following Gröden Formation. The Gröden Formation consists of alluvial fan and playa lake sediments and contains magnesite nodules, magnesite cements and layers.
